The Vikings Won!

They had to go all the way to London, but a W is a W :)

We had a wonderful weekend with Nana & Gpa

Nana went to Holland, Michigan this past Spring for a tulip tour.  She bought us some tulip bulbs. We planted those Friday afternoon.  Daddy surprised us by coming home early too!!

We'll be excited to watch for those to come up this Spring! Thank you!

How awesome is this picture?!

We of course had to take them to Park Yogurt!  To be fair, Nana and Grandpa have never been to a yogurt bar before, so we wanted to let them know what they're missing!

Saturday morning everyone went to Sally's swimming lessons to cheer her on!

I promise Grandpa really did have fun ;)
It rained and it rained, but Daddy insisted that we come to visit tailgating, at least with Sally.  Nana stayed back with Libby--Thank you!

Sunday morning we got to relax a bit before heading to 10:30 Mass and Sally to Sunday school!

Such a good big sister, teaching little sister how to do ballet

Oh Libby!

Looks about 12 years old here!
Nana and Grandpa wanted to try 5 guys, so we didn't put up a fuss :)

We strolled over to Centennial lakes, Libby got in a quick photo bomb ;)

Thank you thank you for another wonderful weekend! 57 days until Disney!!!

**Happy Birthday Emily! We hope you have a wonderful day!

Cleaning Up

Before the school year started, I thought I would want to hurry through Tuesdays and Thursdays because we have to agenda.  I've come to really appreciate those days and especially the lazy mornings!

The girls have continued to play well together and they allowed me to get the house cleaned Thursday morning.

playing sleep while I cleaned
It was a great day to take lunch outside and keep the crumbs off of the clean floor

We have some new neighbors next door and a little girl Hailey loves to come and play after school.  She does a great job coming up with fun little games to play.  They started with this and we ended with Duck Duck Grey Duck!

Continuing with our clean up theme, the girls got their hair cuts yesterday

ummmmm, can someone tell me where September went? My goodness time is flying!

Happy Friday, Happy Weekend, Happy Gopher Homecoming, Happy Nana and Gpa come to play, Happy Everything!!

Girls Girls everywhere

The more I think about the more I realize how many girls outnumber the boys in our play dates and groups of friends :)\

We met the Lindberg girls for a morning play date at the park, just like old times!

Sally started gymnastics the other evening.  She loves to jump and twirl and hang from the bars!

Little sister did such a good job just hanging out and cheering for her sister at the appropriate times! Not too long until it'll be her turn

A little quality time before Big Sister went to school

Happy Thursday! Happy start of Fall shows...PARENTHOOD!!!

Fire Station Field Trip

I always known I wanted to be a mom.  When I was little, one thing that I always thought moms did was chaperone school field trips. Today, I was one of them.  It's funny to me that I've been a mom for over 4 years now and I'm still finding ways to be in awe and excited that I am indeed a mom.

Maybe because at one point I was the teacher seeking out chaperones for field trips and now I am on the other end of that, that added to the coolness of it.  At any rate, it was fun and something I've been waiting for a long time to do.

Libby went to an hourly daycare.  It was her first time at a daycare.  She did very well.  When I asked her if she wanted to go back she shouted yes and continued to explain the things she got to do.  I was glad she liked it, because it will be a great option to have, for future chaperoning, dentist appointments and hair appointments!  I didn't expect to be so emotional about dropping her off.  She was only there for 3 hours.  Maybe because it was something so foreign to me.  So different than having a sitter come to our house for 3 hours.  It makes me appreciate that much more the path that I {we} have chosen, to stay home with the kiddos!

My friend Mary told me the other day, "Make sure you get a picture of you and Sally, so someday she can look back and see that you made it work for her too.  You didn't just go to the youngest child's school activities because it was easier to make it work." So  true!

It was fun to see Sally's new friends and see how Sally is in her school setting!

My little preschooler, raising her hand and being a great little student!

Proof that Mommy came! ;)
Not sure if Sally is bad luck or good luck, but there was a call for a car fire, so the Fire Truck had to leave.  Remember, this happened last week when we were at the Truck Petting Zoo...

It was a fun Fall morning!

p.s. Thank you MN for the awesome Fall weather so far, you're making up for your horrible Spring!!

Celbrating De-Lo!

It was Delores' Birthday yesterday.  We did our best to make her feel special throughout the day!

We took her to Panera for lunch!

and then to Yum! for an afternoon birthday treat!

Thank you for being such a wonderful example to us and our girls, as well as being there for us whenever we need you. We are so blessed to have you in our lives, Delores {De-Lo!}!

***

Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse was a hit! It was a wonderful little play and all of the actors did a great job! Sally {and Mommy and Daddy} were in to it the whole time!!

Whenever she wears jeans she looks about 16!

Special one on one time!
Thank you to Suh and Jade for hanging with Libby! She loved having so much one on one attention too!

Speaking of Libby.  She thinks she's six and can do everything that her sister does.  Get dressed by herself, get into her car seat, high chair, eat with an adult size spoon and fork, forego her sippy cup, the list goes on and on.  When she's allowed, she thinks she's a pretty big deal

**Nana and Grandpa are coming this weekend to hang out, cheer on the Gophers and get started on planning out details for our Disney World trip come November {63 Days!!!}.  If any of you have any great ideas or resources, please feel free to pass that on, either in the comments or in an email, we would greatly appreciate it!!

Have a terrrrrrrrrrrifffffffic Tuesday!
