Thanksgiving 2015

It's been fun making new memories in our new home.  Each night after we get all 3 girls to bed and we sit down to catch our breath for a minute, we ask each other, "Well, does it seem real yet?" Referring to the fact that this is indeed our  home.

I have a feeling it's going to take a year, to experience all of the seasons and celebrations that a year brings.

We "hosted" our first Thanksgiving and it went very well!

Sally's Thankful Turkey: God, Family, a home, clothing and cousins. I think she got 'em all!

We got to meet Savannah and hang out with Thomas and Erin for a bit as they were passing through on their way to Alexandria.

Emma couldn't get enough, she was so excited!

Matching Jammers!

Pro baby holder by now!

Emma thought she was so funny taking off her pj pants, something her sisters have never done...we may have our hands full during her toddler years.
Wednesday afternoon and evening everyone arrived.  After dinner we did a little Turkey Time!

The night wouldn't be complete without a little Pie Face!

Cousins--they got along so well and made some really great memories!

They put on a little show for us,  Lots of Gopher cheers--our passionate little Gopher fan!

We woke up and were excited to see the first snowfall!  Reid took the kids out to play in it for a bit! Rockin' their jammies and all!

The WHOLE gang, if you look closely you can see Emma's whale spout behind Cannon :)

We ended the night with a walk around our neighborhood to look at all of the Christmas Lights and SNOW!

Sally has been wanting to match Emma for quite some time.  It's not always super easy since she's not in Toddler Sizes anymore.  I was able to find some at Costco and surprise them!

We hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving as well!  So much to be thankful for, that's for sure!

Bring on Christmastime and SNOW!!

Family Pictures

Here's a quick little slideshow of our Family Pictures taken this Fall.

There's a lot of Emma, well, because she's so freaking cute, so why not? But really, because they were her 1st birthday pictures.

Thank you Kristin for doing a FABULOUS job!!!

Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Week!

Thanksgiving Week! Is it just me or did Thanksgiving pop out of nowhere?  I think with all of the warm Fall weather [not complaining!] it kind of snuck up on me.  At any rate, we're excited it's here!

We finally have the space to "host"  quotation marks, because my awesome in-laws will be providing most everything, it's just happening at our house. We're excited!

Last week our washing machine's output hose got clogged.  I may be a minority in the fact that I reserve one day a week for laundry.  Almost always, it's the only day of the week the washing machine and dryer run.  If I didn't do it that way, I think I would always feel like there was laundry to be done.  Mondays are my reserved days.  Also, when I reserve it for just one day that's all I think about all day, so a load never [most likely] gets forgotten in the washer needing to be moved to the dryer or the dryer needing to be folded and put away.

So, last Monday during my first load I kept getting an error message.  Long story a little bit shorter, the output drain was clogged.

Centerpoint Service Plus to the rescue once again.  If you don't know what this is, look it up, best investment ever, it has paid for itself over and over and over again :)  Buuuuuuuuuut when I called on Monday, they weren't able to come out until THURSDAY!! Being that I only do laundry once a week, that was kind of a big deal.

"I'm sorry, but there are other emergency situations like furnaces not working and no hot water that come first."

Clearly, she didn't understand that a washer being out WAS a top emergency.  I'm happy to report we did make it through.

2 looooooooong nails and a bra underwire were the problem.  Neither owned or used by anyone currently living in this house.  Thanks previous house owners ;)

Delo came out for a coffee, game playing morning! We miss her!

This showed up on my timehop last week...my oh my what a difference a year can make.  And also, how did I survive that stage of life? I think I blacked out...
Have you done any Wildtree meal preps? We're big fans.  Yummy meatloaf the other night!

I love Libby's journal entries.  This is one of my favorites.  "That's Jesus' tomb, it's empty though, because he rose from the dead."

Have I mentioned Libby's going to be a great lawyer some day?  This girl knows how to win a battle.

She wanted her VBS songs on in the car for the billionth time.  I said we're just going to enjoy the peace and quiet for a bit.

"Mom, don't you want me to learn more about the Lord?"

I mean seriously, how do you respond to something like that?

The Breunig Family came over for a pizza party on Friday! Here's a little concert from the Middles

 Fun times!

Father Don came to visit on Sunday! We had our first meal at our formal table, a gift from him!! What a blessing he is to our Family!  The girls (and Reid and I) had an unforgettable time as he blessed our whole house!

Emma got to help with her room too and it was pretty neat to see she kind of knew what to do :)

Thank you Thank you Father, what a wonderful experience for us!

Happy Monday!
