We had a great time celebrating Halloween in our new neighborhood!
They go all out. Tons of yard decorations, neighbors having bonfires in their front yard, passing out "treats" for the adults, adults dressing up, Halloween music playing.
We had about 100 trick-or-treaters. I even had a former student come, she was collecting for the food shelf instead of collecting candy.
The girls really got in to Halloween this year. They almost liked handing out candy more than getting it!
We were included in the fun neighborhood "boo-ing" It's kind of like May-Day Baskets, only with Halloween Candy. So fun!
The girls had fun celebrating at their new school.
Libby the bumblebee
Reid worked from home so I could Volunteer in Sally's classroom. I helped plan her 1st grade party as well as facilitate it. Brought back some teaching memories. But, yet again, I find myself on the parent side of things, so weird.
The eyeball races were a big hit :)
The girls didn't have school Friday. I know, a 3-day weekend, Halloween on a Saturday AND we gained an hour...wah wah ;)
Our old friends invited us over for a pizza party and to attend Good Shepherd's Halloween party. It was fun to see old friends again.
Emma Bee, ready to party
Best of friends, the same costume, without knowing what the other was going to be, just like last year :)
Gang's all here :)
Carving pumpkins, in pjs, of course!
Peanuts Halloween Show...not sure why we bought a couch for the basement if the girlies are just going to use the bar chairs :)
Mom and Dad dressed up first! Was fun to have the Martinson Family stop by too!
Wizard of Oz theme, thanks Nana for the accessories!
Couldn't get enough of LJ in her dino costume :)
Our girls! Dorothy, Dino and Bee
Sally Sunshine, Happy Mama, Places Reid has lived [his pumpkin got moldy before we carved], yawing Emma and Silly Face Libby
Our sweet neighbor, Jean, bought a special treat for our girls. Peep Kitties because they always come over to see her cat :)
