Grandparent's Day!

Sally's school celebrated Grandparent's Day, last week.  She was lucky enough to have all 4 make it!! How special did she feel? :)

I wasn't there, but I heard it was a great time :)

Thanks for the pictures Nana and Grandma!

She was so excited for this day to have finally arrived

Fall Fun with Nana and Gramps

We had a fun Fall weekend with Nana and Gramps, over Emma's birthday.

They were nice enough to come early so I could take Sally and Libby to the dentist without disrupting Emma's morning nap.

Our neighbor recommended an awesome new dentist office.  They have mounted TVs about the patients chair and you can choose your show and get to wear headphones.  The girls LOVED it.  I can't wait to go!

New patients also receive a free electric toothbrush kit and only $25 for an additional set.  The girls certainly love those too!

After lunch they took the girls to Minnetonka Orchards.  Mommy got to have some "me" time while Emma took her morning nap.

Sally was the only brave one

They braved and found their way through the corn maze

 More Hay Ride fun!
After Emma's nap we headed out to the Arboretum that is only a few miles from our house.  Sadly, I have never been here.  The 3rd Thursday of every month, after 4:30pm is free.  I wanted to do a freebie before I decided if we should get a membership.  I was very amazed and impressed! We'll definitely be going back, especially since it's so close!
Daddy also surprised us by leaving work early to meet us right as we were pulling in.  We had to take a picture by the crows...one of our girls' first animals sounds, thanks to Daddy.
The 3 mile drive did not disappoint.

Saturday morning our local grocery store had a little Halloween Party.  Meet Dorothy and Belle

Decorating Pumpkins
 Decorating Cookies

Sally learned a hard science lesson.  The more full a balloon is, the more likely it is to pop on your ceiling at home...

She also learned that sometimes life's not fair and no, you can't go back to the store to get a new one, because your parents are mean and think you're old enough to learn this life lesson...
Libby was right there ready to share her balloon
 Eating her donut

Saturday, Mommy finally made the cut to go to a Gopher Game with Reid, Russ and Marc!  We had a great time.  Even though they lost, it was a lot of fun.  The Nebraska fans are very nice and it was a beautiful day.

Nana took on the task of watching all 3 girls, and she did a great job!! Thank you!!

Totally unrelated, Joey and Emily got their wedding photos back.  I love that the only picture Joey shared on Facebook was this one :)

We got a 3rd sneak peek from Kristin, how adorably perfect is this?!!

Happy Halloween Week!!
