Let the Birthday Celebrations Begin!

Last week I had the pleasure of hanging out with Emma and getting the oil changed in my car.  Luckily we pretty much had the waiting room to ourselves.

She liked to be the greeter and wave to anyone that would walk by

Excited that someone waved back

Last Friday was Nana's Birthday.  We were excited to make her Triple Chocolate Ghiradelli Brownies!

Celebrating Nana.  We love to do that for her because she does SO much for others!
Heading out on the town for our girls' school Gala!
Fun to be able to get to know Meghan and Matt outside of the Pre-school drop off line or story hour at the library.  As you can see, our husbands are a bit similar...photobombers ;)
Thank you Peytons for your generosity, what a fun night!!

Saturday morning is for wearing whatever you want so the adults can sit and sip on coffee all morning long :)

Nana's Birthday Dinner Celebration.  How awesome does she look?!
Early celebrations for Daddy and Sally

Thank you Nana for the blowers...
Sally's new purse from Nana and Gramps!
Father Don came to visit a few days this week.  He asked if it would be ok to have Mass at our house.  It was so special! What an awesome memory for the girls.  They keep asking for another, so I hope you know Father, each time you come, we'll have to have Mass!

Each of the Girls' Baptismal candles.  Holy Water from Grandma Peggy.  Silver cup from Sally's Baptism

Chalice and crucifix (not pictured) from our wedding
Libby was the cross-bearer, Sally did the reading, we all did the petitions and the Big Girls brought down the gifts.  As soon as it was over, they asked to do it again.  As soon as they woke up in the morning, they asked for a Mass. Thank you thank you Father Don!

We're getting some new siding, we've got some window peepers...hopefully Emma does a good job napping in the basement for a few a days.

Yesterday Reid turned 31! His girls adore him. He gives us his everything. We know he would do anything for us.  We love him with our whole hearts and are so very thankful God chose him for us.  Thank you for all of the love, joy and laughter you provide to fill up our lives, every single day! Happy Birthday to our Main Man, we love you!

 Little Stinker Pants ;)

Birthday Celebrations!  Emma wasn't too interested in the pictures, she wanted to dig in to her ice cream!

A little peek into what happens immediately following a picture :)

This girl.  What a spunky little thing she is.  This morning, she walked around in these heels like she was born in them.  Couldn't see a darn thing because Daddy's new hat was covering her eyes and she colored all over the wall with a black crayon...
 Peek!

Happy Friday!! Cheers to a girls night tonight and date night tomorrow night, and SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNSHIIIIIIIIIINE!

Toodles!

Emma's 1 1/2

I don't know whether to laugh, cheer, or cry.  One and a half?!

She certainly keeps us on our toes...ummmm, you're doing it wrong! Also notice the chairs tipped over...at all times so she can't climb on the table

She had her 18 month Check-up today.  I'm happy to report she's a healthy little girl, our littlest one yet:

Weight: 22 lbs 4 oz-20%
Height: 30.5 inches-18%
Head: 47.9 cm-85%

She's much more physical than her sisters were at this age and a lot less chatty.  Don't be fooled, she'll still let you know what she wants, when she wants it and how she wants it...

She loves playing with other kids.  She especially likes pulling at people's shirts, especially if there's a design on it.  She and Theo have quite the connection

We loved the weather this past week! Mmm Mmm Mmm!
Saturday morning was one for the memory books.  Lots of love, laughter and just hanging out and enjoying and being thankful for life
We had our friends over for Dinner Saturday night.  They go to our church, they have 3 girls, the mom is in my Tuesday morning group and the dad is in Reid's Saturday morning group and they are Bennie/Johnnie Alum.  We  belong to one another :)  Here's the gang!

Crazy how much Sally improved in just one week of swimming.  They got to practice jumping in off of the blocks
Miss Emma has been going to "daycare" on Tuesday mornings, for 2 hours while I got to my morning group with the moms.  We allllllll know she's attached to me at the hip.  The first week she cried off and on, I could hear, our room was across the hall.  The 2nd week she cried the entire time, I could hear, our room shared a wall.  The 3rd week they said she only cried for 10 minutes and then actually played.  This Tuesday, she maybe cried for 2 minutes and they braided her hair!  Love that she's starting to learn that Mommy does indeed always come back.

We're excited to celebrate Nana this weekend, it's her birthday on Friday!!

Happy Hump Day!

The Payoff for Enduring a MN Winter

Mmmmmm the glorious victory of enduring a MN winter and then getting a picture perfect day, like yesterday.  I looooooove the 4 seasons.  I don't ever want to take the change and excitement of new seasons for granted.

Yesterday was a top 10er!

The night before I did a solo run to Target and Costco so that we'd have no errands to run.

Another beautiful sunrise outside the gym windows

After getting Sally on the bus, we loaded up the stroller and headed to a new park, not too far away.  Fun exploring for both girls, although I didn't get any pictures.  We came back home and hung out on the patio and blew bubbles.  I'm working hard on recording Emma saying the word Bubbles, it's quite entertaining!

Thanks to the Hubs, for getting out our patio furniture this weekend, Mama was in heaven!

Concentrating, it's hard work getting the bubble wand in to the tube

Then we had lunch outside and Emma got to sit at the table like a Big Girl
 Helloooooooooo SUNSHINE!!!
We went for a walk around the pond BEFORE naps, can you spot LJ up ahead?
Emma, checking out the birds, just like her Daddy.  Love her little profile
Emma went down for her nap and Libby got to play a game outside, before going down for her nap.  Love her sweet little hands :)

While the Littles napped, Mama got some R&R under the sun's rays, mmmmmm thawing the MN bones.

After naps we played and played and played outside.  Sally was eager to join in the neighborhood fun!

Looking forward to our Spring and Summer days!

A few days earlier, it wasn't so nice, but we still had fun.

Playing catch while watching for Sally's bus

She was extra clingy, so I thought to bring out the Ergo, I think she liked it, I didn't hear a peep
Taking the time to really watch her play :)

Hey Mom, look, no hands!! She's a little more of a toddler handful that her Big Sisters were...should be an interesting summer

Happy Sunshiny Thursday!

Little Lady turns 1 1/2 on Saturday :( Where or where does the time go?
