Halloween 2013

We had a relaxing and fun filled day with lots of unhealthiness and sugar, because Hey, it's Halloween :)

Sally's party at school was yesterday. My sweet Rapunzel

Her entire class before they paraded around the school

Our monthly chalkboard

Sally did these crafts at school, I was SO impressed!!

I keep asking her if she really drew that pumpkin or if maybe one of the teachers helped.  I can't get over it.

We had to get donuts to celebrate the holiday ;)

Pre-trick-or-treat dress up so it's not so stressful to get the perfect picture when they're waiting to get out the door.

Great naps get rewarded with Wizard of Oz

Sally was enthralled! Grandma and George just got tickets for the 3 oldest grandchildren to see this play at Ordway!

Libby: Craaaazzzaaay witch Crazy

Sally: No Libby, she's not crazy, she's ugly because she's not kind.  Weren't you listening?

I should have taken a picture of our pumpkins lit up earlier this week...before the squirrels got to them.  A squirrel was inside Reid's pumpkin earlier today.

A Gopher M and on the side Rah and Sally's silly face

Happy pumpkin {eye's eaten by squirrels} and Mickey Mouse outline

Daddy talked with his professor to make sure it was okay if he missed the first half of class so he could take his girls trick-or-treating.  He got the okay! Someday the girls will know how blessed they are and how much he sacrifices for them.

Watching Mommy light the pumpkins.

Joey and Emily came over to celebrate with us! Thank you Emily for taking the picture!

Cinderella and Rapunzel!

Delores was the first house!

And off they went!
Happy Halloween!  Happy almost All Saint's and All Soul's Day!

Second Born

Second born's are known to march to the beat of their own drum.  I'm a second born, a middle child.  I remember sitting around the dinner table and being silly.  Always trying to lighten the mood.

Jenny--I'm a faiiiiiiry {inside joke}

Our little second born has a lot of those tendencies. What I love the most is that she's just being silly for her.  She doesn't try to do it to get anyone's attention, she's never known what it's like to have it all on her.  She's in her own world doing her own thing.

Sally's favorite part of school is to make art for people.  Yesterday she made one for her sister.  Melts this Mama's heart!

Love, heart balloons, a big 2 because she's almost 2 and a little girl with pigtails :)
Sally & Libby got some Halloween mail from Grandma and George yesterday

Mom, look!

Wizard of Oz, Grandma's favorite!  Libby--hmmmm how can I get this candy open?

Shots...tea party style

Cracker cookies! Rolos, Ritz, 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Easy Peasy and very tasty!

The critics gave them two thumbs up!

Sally wanted Minnie nails!

We made our Disney countdown chain, but it's not quite picture ready, it still needs ears ;)

Little Lady isn't afraid to wander away from Mama.  Her little Mother Hen is always right there, just in case :)  She also insisted on taking off her socks and shoes.  This is at story time, they were flying like airplanes

Someone found the stash of "tea cups" behind the bar...

Thank you Grandma & George for our adorable matching dresses!

Rock Star Singing Sisters...Lucy and Sally :)

Pizza Party, just the girls, just like old times.  One Daddy was traveling for work, the other Daddy was at class.

Happy Friday!! Happy Everything!!

Libbers

I love to look back at old blog posts and I especially love the videos, to see how much they have grown and changed.  Yesterday I kind of went nuts and did a lot of cute videos of Libby.  I apologize if you can't understand her!

She still loves dolls.  I've been letting her bring "Gabby" when we go to pick up Sally from school so she doesn't try and steal Sally's school stuff or her leftover lunch...

She can do her prayers on her own, but she doesn't always like to do it for the camera, so I helped her out with this one.  She also made up a new sign of the cross that I haven't seen.

Yesterday Sally was teaching her how to play hide and go seek.  Sometimes I just can't get enough of this girl.  She loves to be included and she loves to do anything with her big sister!!

Have you heard of the app Artkive?  It allows you to take pictures of your kid's artwork and store it all in one place so you don't have to keep every single piece of art.  These are just from this week...

Happy Pumpkin

She glued the leaves on first and then created a picture around it (I guess this is from a few weeks ago)

This week has gone by quickly, I can't believe tomorrow is already Friday! It's been a fun one too.  Mommy got to have some much needed girl talk at Kari's house on Tuesday night {I didn't get home until 11:30pm!!!}, we did some fun Disney World prepping {pictures tomorrow}, fun little projects, brought Kari and Haddie to the airport, had a pizza party with the Lindberg girls and we have a fun weekend coming up!!

Sweet Dreams! See you tomorrow ;)
