Father's Day 2013

I'll speak for Reid, in that he had a wonderful father's day :) We were definitely missing Sally this morning and welcomed her back with open arms at noon.

Thank you so much to Uncle Joey for bringing the kids home so we didn't have to sit in the car on this absolutely perfect summer day!! Thank you thank you to my mom and George for such a fun and memorable weekend for Sally, pictures to come from that tomorrow.

We woke up and went to 8:30am Mass, grabbed our BOGO Caribou's and headed to Lake of the Isles to walk around and enjoy the sunshine!

A nice couple asked if I wanted to be in the picture too

Selfies are always fun too!
 When we got home we had a picnic lunch on the front lawn while we waited for Sally to arrive!
Being as cute as can be!  {Thank you Grandma for her adorable dress!}
 We gave Daddy his special cards.  Sally had made another one this weekend, but I didn't get a picture of it before she went to bed {she wanted to hang it in her room}

Some day our girls will truly know how blessed they are to call this man their Daddy.  Until then, they'll just have to trust their Mama!

They love their Daddy!

How blessed am I?!
 Mommy and Daddy got to enjoy some relaxing time in the sun while the girls took a nap.  Daddy opted to stay home and play in our little pool instead of rush off somewhere.
Sisters were glad to be reunited! {Thanks Nana for the Jelly Belly Icee!!}

We grilled steaks for dinner.  It wouldn't be a true celebration if we didn't end it with some ice cream!  We made a quick trip to DQ before our "sever thunderstorm warning" that didn't amount to anything.

We made sure to have extra stories and prayers about Grandpa Joe! I'm pretty sure he'd be very proud of who his "Jackson Girl" married and the amazing Father he has become!

Happy Father's Day Reid, thank you so much for all that you do and how hard you work to ensure that your girls have the best life possible. You are an amazing father and role model for our girls! We love you so much!
