Anticipating Our Summer Vacation

We're very much looking forward to heading up to Alex tomorrow, for an entire week and a day!! We don't get to go to Alex very often with nothing on our plate.  That means LOTS of relaxation and nothingness, oh and the weather is suppose to be pretty much perfect!

Reid and I will also be heading to Fargo to celebrate the wedding of our good friends.  My mom has convinced me to leave Miss Libby with her, and of course Sally.  I'm excited to have two mornings without kids, but it's always hard to leave your child for the first time.  Hopefully we'll all do great!

I'm sure I'll have plenty to report and a handful of pictures when I stop on back on July 9!!!

Getting so big

She has now fully mastered rolling over.  She prefers to be on her tummy.  Her second tooth has come in.  She got to sit for part of her bath. She is starting to drink water from a sippy cup.  And her crib rail has to be raised up.  Where's my baby going?

Each night I snuggle a few extra seconds before placing her in her crib.  I know how quickly she's going to be transitioning into a bed...I know, I know, I'm getting ahead of myself. But seriously, where have these 6 months gone???

I taught Sally how to do the standing airplane the other day.  Did you ever do this as a kid?

We finally met up with the Shipman Family! It was so great to finally reconnect and catch up! Sally also enjoyed their dogs

New Sprinkler, New Outfits

We found a fun sprinkler on sale the other day.  It was a hit!

Libby has lots of people that love her and think of her often.  The first outfit is from Meggers, just because.  The second outfit is from Delores, just because.  We love them, just because :)

She's very close to sitting by herself.  She can for long stretches, but I didn't want to risk her falling and bonking her head while I took her picture :)

Our friend Annie has the same dress as Sally.  Since Annie has outgrown it, she's borrowed it to Libby, so the Craigmile sisters can be matchy match :)

For quite some time I've sang the girls "You Are My Sunshine" as part of their bedtime routine.  It was fun to see Libby's reaction, as she heard it many times while I was pregnant.  Sally loves to reverse the roles and sing it to me.  She is so sweet and sincere when she sings it, so I wanted to make sure I got it recorded before she doesn't think it's so cool to do anymore.

You'll notice we have an alternate ending and some of our own words in there, enjoy!

Picture Perfect Days

The picture perfect days are back and we're back to spending our days outside!

Libby had her 6 month check up earlier this week.  We've got a healthy and very proportional little lady!

Love this little lady! I can't get enough of her and her happiness!

I don't know if it's the hair cut, or the fact I know she's going to be starting school in the Fall.  Either way, my little girl is looking  older and older every day!

Looking back at old posts I realized I used to do a whole lot more videos, I'll try to improve on that! Here are a few from recently.

We read the same bedtime story to Libby each night.  Sally started reading it all by herself while I was cleaning up the bath stuff.  She didn't know I was recording. Don't mind her hiccups :)
