Libby's First Day of Pre-School!

Today is Libby's big day! She's been so very patient and so very excited for this day to finally have arrived!

My annual, make-yourself-cry-first-day-of-school-poem...

I wonder what you're doing now,
and if everyone is treating you kind.
I hope there is a special person,
a nice friend that you can find.

I wonder if the teacher knows
just how special you are to me.
And if the brightness of your heart
is something that she can see.

I wonder if you're thinking about me,
and if you need a hug.
I already miss the sound of your voice
and how you give my leg a tug.

I wonder if you could possibly understand
how hard is for me to let you grow.
On this day know that my heart breaks,
for this is the first step in letting my
baby go.

But Libby Jo, we're also so very excited for you to spread your wings and fly! Mommy and daddy are so very proud of you and can't wait to watch you change the world! We love you Sweet Girl, go get 'em!!

They were so excited to be going to school together, to the same school.  Libby's class walks past Sally's classroom to go to recess.

There are 2 other little sisters in Libby's class, that have Big Sisters in Sally's class...did you follow that? :)

Emma wasn't super happy to be taking MORE pictures...

Pretty sure I'll blink and it'll be time for Emma's first day, ugh.

Nailed this picture...

Love how much time we have in the morning, so much less rush rush!

Libby's drop off is 10 minutes later than Sally's so we get to hang out in the car for a few minutes.  She said she was very excited, just a little bit nervous.  I asked if she had butterflies in her tummy.  She thought that was the funniest thing ever!

My girls, my heart, my purpose!

Thanking the Lord for directing us to this wonderful new school blessed with amazing teachers, staff and students.  Makes all of these transitions a little bit easier on this emotional mama :)

So very proud of our girls!

Can't wait to go pick up Libby!!!
