Sally was awesome! I was so so proud of what a big, mature girl she was! At the end of storytime there are a bunch of toys that get brought out. I gently reminded Sally that this was for the little kids and that she could play too, but to be aware if another little kid wanted what she had.
At one point one child took a block away from Sally and then knocked down her tower. I held my breath. Sally looked across the room at me, smiled and said oh well. What a sweetheart!
Libby was overwhelmed with all of the crazy kids so she wasn't her usual smiley, chatty self, but she had a great time and enjoyed reading the books. As well as popping the bubbles to the Lollipop song!!
We will be back!
Proud of how this one is growing up! |
Can you guess what is about to happen? |
We have another lover of Mother Goose! |
SO FUN! How cute Sally didn't flip when her tower was knocked over. Good for you for starting to do things for Libby. Those younger ones often times get such the shaft. I am going to do an ECFE class with Leo next fall and was thinking about it and he will be in a 12-24 month class, how is that possible?????
