I had a wonderful day and felt extra loved with all of the phone calls, text, FB messages and visits! Thank you thank you for making me feel so special!

29 and feeling fine!

I turned 29 early this AM, right mom? :) Age doesn't really bother and/or matter to me.  One year left in my 20's eh, no big deal.  Next year I turn 30? Bring it on! :)

I have much to be thankful for {including the littlest lady sleeping 12 hours straight last night, happy birthday to meeeeeeee!}!

It's a bummer that my main man has work and then grad school tonight, but he did a great job spoiling me already this morning.  He woke up extra early so he'd have time to run out and get me breakfast and coffee!  We will be celebrating this weekend, all his planning. He even set up the sitter on his own!

The next best thing are my girlfriends and most all are able to come and play tonight! Not sure who's more excited, me or Sally :)

So very blessed!

This video was from last week...before she kept her mom up all.night.long. Yep, last night was much of the same. This video also gives you a little taste of her strong stubborn temper, hence the not giving it to sleep.

All I want for my birthday is a one night stay at a hotel with a king bed and no interruptions.

Libby has been struggling with a cough/cold/viral something or other for the past two nights.  Last night was the worst.  I think I got one, at most two hours of sleep.  Sure makes you appreciate the healthy days.

After I put Libby to bed I sent Reid a message that he might lose his job of bedtime snuggles. It has been quite some time since I've put Libby to bed. I didn't realize how much I missed it.  Kiddies just know when we need extra snuggles.  She randomly woke up at 9:45pm, for nothing other than to snuggle for a few more minutes.  This has never happened.  Mamas and their Babes have extra connections, they know what the other needs without words.  Love my girls

Play Voice

Libby is already mimicking a play voice.  I still remember the first time Sally did that too.  Love this age!

I also love having two.  Two is easier than one, once you get to a certain point.  Yesterday I was able to shower AND clean the whole house...because when there are two, they can entertain each other!!

Reid started back up with Grad school, after a 2 month break.  He has completed 4 semesters, he has 6 more to go.  Carlson MBA is intense.  However, this mama is trying to stay positive.  For once, I wasn't pregnant, nursing an infant or sleep deprived so I could actually enjoy my solo night.  Cheers!

Staying warm

I know I know, everyone is posting about how flippin' cold it is outside.  I will too, but only because I love to look back at posts. The more specific I am, the more I can bring myself back to that time.  I'm sure I'll look back at some point this summer when it is super hot and sticky :)

Vacation is officially over

Meet Teddy.  It was Sally's turn to bring him home from school for a sleepover.  She taught him all about Princesses.  She also held his hand each night while she slept, so sweet

"Mommy, it is really sunny today, I should put my sunglasses on!" Not one mention of the below zero temps, just the sunshine, love the positivity!
