We wish you a blessed Easter Triduum, and hope your Lenten Journey was what you hoped it would be.
Sally had her Easter Chapel at school yesterday. I might be a little biased, but I'm pretty sure she was the cutest little pre-schooler. Thank you Clarks for the super cute jumper!!
Libby did a great job cheering for her big sis!
Sally loved saying Hi to Libby
Sally's bed might have gotten smaller, but her responsibilities got bigger. She's now in charge of making her bed each morning. Here is her first morning doing it all by herself, she's quite proud!
Like I said, quiet times have been successful...
**CORRECTION**
The Other day I posted this picture on the blog:
I was wrong. The girls were not watching Little Einstein's, instead, Daddy was showing them the video of "Open the Eyes of my Heart Lord." A favorite around these parts lately. They were raising their arms in the air like you would do at a concert. Very angelic these two are ;)
We're looking forward to the warmer weather next week!
Until then, we'll be waiting.
"Good Friday means that Life Hurts. Saturday means that if we wait and hope and keep vigil- Easter Sunday will come to prove that Love Wins.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Pain, Waiting, Redemption."

A little bit of this & a little bit of that
Welp, we're back to record setting low temps. Looking at the positive it's allowing for some cleaning, organizing and purging.
Sally got a new bed this weekend! She's pretty excited about it. Even though it's a "downgrade" shhhh don't tell :) We're letting her get used to her new bed and spot before we move Miss Libby upstairs with her. I'll show more pictures of the new room once everything is set in it's place. It might be a little bit, as we have some "new" furniture to add to the room, but we need to paint it first. Fun changes! I remember as a little girl, one of my favorite things was to rearrange my sister and my room!
Quiet time was quite peaceful yesterday as she had less room to "flop" around and get into trouble on her new bed :)
The girls watching some Sunday morning cartoons while Mommy and Daddy got ready for church. I love that they're holding hands {Little Einstein's is blasting off}
After Mass I met my mom, sister and Grandma for some Brunch and then we headed to the outlet Mall to get some Spring/Summer clothes for the girls. Thank you Mom for the awesome purchases for the girls! Hopefully it won't be long until we're able to wear some!!
Daddy did a great job getting Sally to Henry's Dinosaur birthday party, running errands and getting dinner ready!
Last but not least, I apparently underestimated Libby's pedaling abilities...
Just one year ago she was taking her first steps!!
Happy Tax Day--it can be a happy day for some...

| Getting ready to put the seats down in the Pilot, when we discovered Uncle Joey was in the area, so he used his truck to pick up the bed. Thanks Uncle Joey and Emily! |

The rest of a really great weather week!
Sally had her turn at swimming lessons on Thursday. She was so excited to discover that she was tall enough to touch the bottom!
Sisters, blowing some bubbles while waiting for the Christensens to come over and play. We didn't get any pictures of the crew, but they had a great time playing together! Looking forward to seeing them more often as summer approaches! Thanks for coming to play!
I love Sally's passion. Biking and belting out "Let it go!"
Daddy had a volunteer event yesterday morning and he didn't have to leave until later. He enjoyed the morning routine with his girls!
We of course were outside again yesterday, after naps we decided to walk up to the park. Daddy was coming home soon so we could go to our Church's Fish Fry. When we arrived at the park, we knew almost every family that was there, it was so fun! Daddy was able to join in the fun and we delayed our fish fry a little bit so we could enjoy the friendship and beautiful weather. I love coming out of Hibernation and getting back in the park groove :)
The girls enjoyed the fish fry! They're getting so old. They were allowed to go to the kid coloring table once they were finished. Libby thought she was a pretty big deal being able to go there by herself. I caught her just as she was coming down, but they were so sweet coloring next to one another.
The girls and Daddy are about to come back with Saturday morning Donuts. Looking forward to another beautiful day, once the rain passes through.
Enjoy your weekend!

S E V E N T I E S ! ! !
What a glorious day!! Other than the fact that oldest woke up with a fever. If it wasn't for the fever, you would never have known she was sick. Oh well, we rolled with it.
I got to snuggle baby Milo for a bit this morning as we dropped dinner off at the Housman's. Sicky and her sister had to hang in the car so they didn't bring any germs with them.
The girls rocked their naps today, and Mama got a tan line!! I sat out, let the winter bones thaw and caught up on some Lenten reading.
Youngest was up first so we enjoyed a one on one snack time
And some chalk drawings
Delores played "Going on a Bear Hunt" for the crew to act out
We rode bikes, met some new neighbors with kiddos around our kids' ages and just enjoyed the sunshine!
Daddy came home and we grilled pork chops for dinner
With the new season we have to refresh the rules and limits. We weren't sure if Libby fully understood not to go in the alley and the girls were up to something in the garage. Daddy checked in and caught them working together to pump up their soccer ball. He brought them around to show me, so sweet
It was a "leave the dinner mess on the table and let's go for a walk!" kind of night.
Mmmm I love me some springtime/summer!
Happy Happy Joy Joy!

Springtime!!
We are able to expand our world outside of the four walls of our house. And boy does it feel amazing and do a number on our moods!
Sally even voluntarily slept today during nap and went to bed at a normal time!!
We had our first lunch of the season on the front steps!
Love the blue sky and the snowless ground. Also the little girl's big bubble blowing cheekers
It was a bit chilly to stay outside for a long period of time this am. Sally got a little creative when we headed back in. Silly nut
First park walk of the season. With the change of seasons I'm always more aware of how the girls are another year older than they were this time last year. This time last year L was just taking her first steps!!
Park season has arrived!! The girls have been anxiously awaiting the return of the park. We've been walking and driving by for quite some time to watch the snow melt away. Yesterday, Libby officially declared it ready to be played on.
Swinging and giggling the whole time
Spinning and giggling
Yesterday when we went outside to play Sally was running in circles saying "I love this, this is so much fun!" I asked if it was fun because she could run in the yard which was piled high with snow for so long and she said "No, just being outside, I love it!"
We registered the girls for this season of swimming lessons. It'll lead us right in to pool season! Was fun for L to be the center of attention for a change and have Sally sit on the sidelines and cheer for her!
She did great {Daddy too!} and can't wait to go back next week!
Happy 70's and sunshine tomorrow! Can you even believe it?!

A-Town
We did a little shoveling Friday morning and then we headed North to Alexandria, to spend the weekend with Nana and Grandpa.
The weekend didn't disappoint. It was filled with great conversations, LOTS of relaxing, delicious food, laughter, memories and a few reunion catch ups :)
I'll explain through pictures:
Nana and Grandpa came down earlier in the week to attend the Grizzlies' game. We went to dinner with the crew before they headed to the game
She loved to make and deliver her creations!
Family pic, Sally being Sally and well, Libby being Libby :)
Measuring the chocolate chips to help Nana make muffins!
Stir stir stir
Snuggles
Daddy wanted to make sure the girls got to enjoy one of his favorite childhood movies, The Land Before Time
Deli and Denelle came over for a visit! So great to catch up!
Uncle John and Great Grandma Gen came over for dinner! So great to have time to catch up with them!!
Libby put her hand on her shoulder all on her own for the picture, so sweet
Reid and his Grandma!
Green Stripes
Gal Pals
Singing Amazing Grace together
I was enjoying it and then realized it was probably one of those moments that should be recorded, so I quickly grabbed my phone to catch the end of it
Uncle John getting a head rub from Sally. She made sure he paid her in advance.
We hope to come visit in August!
Bedtime stories
Thank you Nana and Grandpa for such a wonderful weekend!!
We came home to the snow melted and some lovely weather! Wesley and Kyle stopped over for a visit! We hope to make this a more regular occurrence!
Happy Springtime!

| Nana and Grandpa brought down some new Spring/Summer clothes. The girls really wanted to wear their matching night gowns. Soon they'll be able to wear them how they are supposed to be worn, I hope! |
