I think three year olds are bipolar. I went from "You're not my friend and I don't love you." To the fluttering of the eyes, "Mom, you're the best Mommy ever and I kind of like totally love you!" All within a 15 minute span.
Daddy has been putting Libby to bed for the past week and a half. I've completed my nursing journey with her. It was a lot more emotional this time around. Not because I thought Libby should still have it or whatnot, but the fact that I have Sally to look to, to see how fast they grow. I still remember my last nursing session with Sally and she's already 3 1/2. Libby turns ONE on Sunday, she moves from an infant to a baby to a toddler. Tonight, for the first night since my last nursing session she wanted Mommy to put her to bed. It made Daddy a little sad, but he understood. As we were rocking and saying our prayers she was giggling a little. Just enough to see if I would echo her, like old times. In a matter of seconds we were both full blown belly laughing :) I love my girls.
**She was shortchanged nursing by two weeks to make sure she was fully adjusted before going to Nana and Grandpa's for Christmas and then a few days later Mommy and Daddy leaving for the Dominican. I wanted her to adjust while being on a totally normal schedule, just in case there were any issues, but of course, there were none. She's ready to be a toddler!
In case you haven't smiled today {not sure how you couldn't, it's 12-12-12 and Christmas is 12 sleeps away!}

Only Daddy would let her eat this meal with her fingers |

She's was upstairs in a timeout and came down asking "Do I look amazing?" |

It's Mary, of course! |
Here goes nothing...
It can't have already been almost a year since I was holding little Libby and Maks was just a bump! Jealous of your trip; so much has changed since your last visit to the Dominican!!!
