We had a fun day at MOA yesterday. I had learned from previous experiences how important it is to get there early so you can be at the beginning of the line.
Almost two years ago I took William to meet Curious George at MOA (with Sally in my belly). I went with my friend Tiffany and her nephew. When we got there, the line was pretty long. We had overheard people saying that even though the stores don't open until 10am you can still get into the Mall part earlier than that. Yesterday, we got to the Mall at 9:45 and ended up being 10th in line. By the time Clifford had made his appearance, the wait was at least 20 minutes before you'd see him. It was a good thing we were at the front of the line, we were in and out in no time.
Sally doesn't really watch much TV other than the 15 minute Elmo portion of Sesame Street. So, she didn't really know who Clifford was, other than what her mama told her. She did better than meeting Santa, she didn't shed any tears. She hung on tight and was a little shaky, but overall did well. Of course as soon as we left all she could talk about was "Clifford, and the puppy, and the big ear,s and the big eyes, Wow!"
She got lots of kisses from her Mama, she was such a good girl!
She was a big fan of the BIG BALL and the big Dora. She's never seen the show Dora, but has a doll and can spot her anywhere, even if it's just a look-a-like and not really Dora, but just a little girl who has some of the features...if you know what I mean!
Have you heard about Scott, the guy living in a "glass apartment" at MOA? Read more about it here
I think I could have left Sally in the middle of Nickelodeon Universe and she wouldn't have noticed...
We'll definitely be back for Toddler Tuesday!
Good girl Sally!! Grandma will have to get out her Clifford books the next time you visit. Can't wait!! Love you lots!!
