Sally is 3 1/2 today!

Halfway through the horrible 3's!! I feel like the worst is over.  I'm confident to say that she is sweeter more times than not.  Phew! One down, ??? to go through the 3's.

Here are a few of Sallyisms:

Nana got to see Sally's wittiness when sitting in the back with her for 14 hours. Nana accidentally did the first clip of Sally's car seat.  A step Sally prides herself in doing all on her own.

Sally: Hey, I can do that myself!
Nana: Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know.
Sally: Well, you just ruined my day!

Sally was getting in trouble for not listening and telling me NO!!!.  After she had been upstairs for a few minutes to take a break, we pulled up chairs to have a little chat.  As we were talking she said, "May I have a turn?"  "Sure Sally, what would you like to say?"

"You are not being very nice and I can see Jesus in your eyes.  He is in every one's heart.  Do you think you are making Him very happy right now?"

Jeeeeeeeez thanks a lot preschool!

The other night after she took her first few bites of her dinner.  "Mmm, Thanks Mom, this is wonderful!"

Happy 3 1/2 witty little girl! Thank you for making me a mama! We're proud of who you are becoming!! Love you so so much!

Brave girls after "catch up" shot. One cracker makes everything alllllll better!

Sisters helping Mommy shop at Target.  Clearly Libby is still loving her new found freedom and has no time to look at or smile for the camera

Happy Girl after nap time yesterday

Grandma, this one is for you!! {She desperately wants one of her granddaughters to love baby dolls}

Sally is starting to learn the days of the week and months of the year. I love catching her singing one of her songs from school and then she teaches me.  To be fair this video was shot in the month of October ;)

Happy Hump Day

Libby doesn't have her bucket seat any more so she gets to shop like a big girl.  Always keeping her eyes on her Big Sister, watching her every move.

We were trying to kill the extra hour we were given on Sunday, so we went for a little stroll. She looks kind of like cookie monster

Girl Time

Sally went North with Daddy this weekend.  She stopped at Nana and Grandpa's and Reid continued North to go Deer Hunting with his family.

That left just Mommy and Libby at the Craigmile Crew.  I hosted {with the help of girlfriends} a baby shower for Meghan.  It was a lot of fun to be able to hang out with the girls all the while knowing I had a low key weekend the rest of the weekend.

This is her "I know I'm being naughty grin" as she drops food on the floor

Waiting for the girls to arrive

The whole gang.  So excited for Baby Brown to arrive!

Meggers stayed over so we got to enjoy her company into Saturday

Happy Pants to have so much one on one attention!

The weekend wouldn't be complete without a main drain clogged. {Same thing happened three years ago}  Luckily we have Service Plus through Centerpoint so it was covered! Phew!  Good thing I didn't have any plans to go anywhere as they give you a 2:30pm-midnight window that they will come!  Luckily I didn't have to stay up until midnight as he came at 6:30.
How did your extra hour effect your weekend?  Libby had a case of the sillies:

**all I was doing was blowing a piece of hair out of my face...

TGIF

Here are the left over photos from the week :)

Reid had Monday off so he was able to take Sally to swimming lessons and she how much she's learned!

Libby is learning how to play with new things...everything, but toys. She's starting to discover the world!

May I have a bite? Please?

After Breakfast ritual, play the "violin" on the vent :)
Best of luck Deer Hunters, stay safe!

Best of luck, Moms with young kids, as we set back the clocks.  ooofta!

Enjoy your weekend!

Halloween 2012

Way back in August {Can you believe it's already November?!} we were out for a walk and Sally had her mind made up what everyone should be for Halloween.  She would be a kitty, Libby would be a dog, Mommy would be a bunny and Daddy would be a bear.  2 out of 4 isn't bad ;)

Surprise Halloween package from Grandma and George!

Thank you!!
