First Dentist Visit

Yuck, is there anything worse than going to the dentist and getting your gums poked and prodded?  Well when your three year old is going for the first time, you have to pretend it is F-U-N!

Sally did GREAT! Better than I thought, heck better than I would have done.  She was very patient when waiting for at least 30 minutes in the chair for the dentist to have a quick look.

The dentist was very impressed with how well she was talking {and cooperating}.  She brought it up to me again, as I had my appointment after Sally's.  "I just can't get over how well she communicates.  I bet you have to talk to her like a regular adult.  I've never had a child ask me how old I was, but really it only makes sense.  If I'm going to ask her she has every right to ask me back."

You know the game "Hi, what's your name? How old are you?"  Well, Sally asks the same questions right back, not understanding you don't really ask adults how old they are :)

Checking out the fish in the waiting room

Such a big girl

So brave

Libbers did a fabulous job just hanging out for an hour!!

First Visit was a success!

Tons of Fun

We have had a pretty low key week, but lots of photo opportunities

We made cloud sand...just flour and baby oil. Sally was a big fan

Story time in the shade
"Look at me mom, I'm like a mermaid"

Our Neighbor Nolan came over to play.  Making "cupcakes" in this picture

Silly Faces

Yesterday a local shop area had a little carnival for kids so we went to check it out with Tiffany and Izzy, Daddy came once he was off work.
She could jump for days

"Mommy, can I have one?" {bunnies}

Doing Yoga to the "Napping House"

"A pretty red flower, please"

"Hello, what's your name? Do you want to be my friend? I'm Sally"

"Pretty please?"

We had a successful trip to the dentist this morning, but I didn't want to overload with pictures.  Check back Monday :)

Happy Weekend!

Video Upload!

Here's a handful of videos from our vacation

This is a glimpse into our car ride up to Grandma and George's :) Reid wanted me to mention that you should take note to the song playing in the background...

We all know Sally loves to sing.  Nana and Grandpa have a fun piano that plays familiar tunes.  Sally knows how to push the button so many times to get to her favorite.  It's a little remix as I think the tempo is pretty fast.

Libby loved her extra attention from Grandma and gave her lots of giggles and smiles throughout the week

Sally's first sparkler...safety first :)

This & That

Slowly but surely we're starting to get  back into the swing of things.  Libby still isn't her full self, low fever, not as smiley, not as long of naps, messy diapers, little cough...hopefully she'll make a turn for the better.  I'm not a fan of having to bring her in to the doctor so I'm holding out until my mommy instinct gives me the green light.
"Call me maybe"

and she wonders why she has to eat her snack outside...

Thanks for the new wagon Nana & Grandpa!

Happy Hump Day

Swingin'

We're back...there are too many pictures to put in posts so I'm making a quick video.  Once it is done uploading I'll post it for you.  Sorry for a lack of a post yesterday, but you know how it is getting back after being gone for a week.  Laundry, groceries, routines, a lot to get accomplished.  Not to mention our little pumpkin pie with her first fever...hopefully it's nothing!

Love this face...you can almost see the wheels spinning in her head as she watches the big kids play
