Record MN Winter

This winter was a record breaker.  We got the most snowfall in the month of February than in a realllly long time. I'm too lazy to look up the actual record.  Most of it fell during the week, which meant a lot of delayed school days, early releases and a few cancellations.

A handful of pictures to show how crazy  high the snow banks got.

This picture was taken March 12, notice the snow is almost touching the bottom of the swing

Thankfully after January it didn't seem to be AS bitterly cold. The kiddos spent hours in our front yard building tunnels and castles and just creating!
I believe this was the day in February where we officially broke the snowfall record
I wonder how many times I dried their snow gear this winter...
 Sweet Baby Ava!
Mason entertaining the ladies during Elizabeth's basketball game
Thank you Lucy for letting Mason borrow your hoop during small group!
 Mason's 2 year well-visit. Grateful for a healthy kiddo!

26.5 lbs-46%
34.5 inches-47%

Discovered Emma could write most of her letters without looking at anything for reference
 Sally's snowflake creation
She can't get enough of writing at drawing as of late
The banks in the parking lot at Emma's Pre-school.  You can't even see if there are cars parked until you're during down the lane...notice the "no parking" sign and how high the snow is.
 Our front walk banks
all the way to the mailboxes
Beautiful sunrise when I was coming home from the gym, and noting the fact you have to pull halfway into oncoming traffic to see if cars are coming...
 Hours and hours of playing
The Bigs and I had a fun day at the Mall picking up clothes for our upcoming trip to AZ

Girls night out at church BINGO.  We all went to Saturday vigil Mass and then Reid took Mason home for bed.  It was a crazy fun night!
She wanted to let Daddy know that she had his favorite number on her board, 38.
 Mom won the first game!!
 Then Elizabeth won a game!!

and Sally won a door prize!
Cheering her up after she was the only non-craigmile winner...
Fun memories with my girls. Thankful for Reid hanging back with Mason.
Lots and lots and lots of dance parties during the winter!

 Lots of dress up too!
Everyday at 1pm the retreat leaders would pray a prayer together.  Emma loved to wait to go down for her nap until after my alarm went off and we prayed together.
 Watching Mason's imagination run wild!

Emma knows how to spell and write Craigmile!
and that's a wrap for today, Happy Lent!
