Spring and Reid's Birthday

Spring has sprung (we're actually currently experiencing middle of the summer heat).  But at the end of April, Spring had finally sprung.

Rec center park is Mason's new favorite place

 Conquering
Last summer I hoovered Emma to make sure she didn't die. This summer I'm all "Good luck Emma, I have to hoover Mason..." Sink or swim kids, sink or swim, Mama's only got 2 hands

He doesn't quite understand the "up the stairs down the slide" rule
Mom, can I take Mason down the slide?
Busting out the Burley as a stroller is fun too
Morning's at the bus stop...Mason was already down for his morning nap (that I only have a handful of days left!)
She dressed herself, loves her Gophers because her Daddy does

We had a wonderful time at our School's Gala.  Thank you for the Peyton Family for their generous donation! We didn't get a group picture this year, too much chatting.  But I snapped a quick picture of Meghan and I on the dance floor
and then the next morning was Daddy's 33rd birthday! Emma has a love for birthdays just like her Mama.  Making sure to sing to him and soon as she could...
a great way to start his birthday.  Dream baby was still sleeping
 Sweet giggles
 His favorite breakfast
 His favorite 4-pack
Then we strapped on the helmets and bikes to our local Bakery shop, Ruby's Roost
The sun was a little bright :)
 I love our little town
 Too much fun [VIDEO]

Kids in helmets is hilarious
 Weeeeeeeee

Lunch on the patio, Mason submitting his order through the window
 Playtime

Dinner out! We surprised Daddy with his favorite sports teams for shirts, we were only missing the gophers
 Cheers
 Loving the pickles
Still up for debate if we regret going to this place...wait for a few more pictures

Trying to get a family shot of the shirts...almost

Quick stop to bring home Cold Stone...is there anything better??

There we got the shirts!
His favorite wife ;) I heart making him feel extra special
Sally trying out different angles :)
and then the next day we woke up and...

But now I'm second guessing if it was food poisoning because a handful of our neighbors have been getting the stomach flu and it was weird no one was suck until over 12 hours after eating....

I did learn that I think I would prefer the kiddos to all get sick at one ONLY IF the adults don't get it as well.  It was nice to get it all done in one shot, not triple cleaning over a months worth of time when they spread their illnesses out by 4 or more days...

So, we survived.  Another notch in the parenting belt...

I got to help Kindergarten spread May Day joy at the Residents' home nextdoor, delivering May Day cards and singing sweet songs!

and we finally made it to Delores' house for a visit.  It had been MUCH too long.  Mason was a fan!

Next up, celebrating Sally's birthday and Mother's Day and surviving the craze of May, one day at a time!
