Catch Up...Easter....More Stomach Flu...

Hiiiiiii Helllooooooo Long time no talk

Sorry

I've been Busy

and stranded

and soaking up the sunshine (YAHOOOO Spring arrived a little late, but it DID arrive!)

I was lucky enough to get swept away by my mama for a long weekend of sunshine and relaxation in Arizona.  It was glorious.  Until it was time to come home and our flight was cancelled and we were flying Sun Country and we were stranded (it was in the news).  More to come on that.

But, I don't want to forget about Easter and the days before I left for AZ.

Sooooo, we made it home from Florida, with Sally having the Flu.

It continued much longer than I anticipated (she wasn't back to her full self for 4 FULL days). Which meant she was down for the count for Easter.  We divided and conquered.  Mason got his morning nap.  Reid and Emma went to the earlier Easter Celebration Mass and Libby and I went to the later one.  She and Sally were suppose to sing in the Choir (if you remember, Libby had to miss singing in the choir for Christmas because she was sick).  She was excited to not have had to miss Easter, and she barely made it...by about an hour, and then she got sick!!!!!

Ok, I'll let the pictures lead me and then I'll caption.

Pictures Nana took from before we left for Florida

Mason's 1st time in the Costco Cart, it was awesome!
Moments later we heard one of our favorite songs playing in Costco.  Oceans, by Hillsong United.  It's not every day you hear Christian Music at stores.  We followed the song and were so excited to see it was a guy playing it live.  It attracted quite a crowd.  Brought be to tears...surprise surprise.  I wonder what our world would be like if this was the norm...

Our good friend often says "Find JOY today, it's out there!"  We found ours in Costco, of all places!

Palm Sunday (Saturday night, in our case.  That day before we left for Florida). Libby was excited to be invited to sing in the Choir too!
The realities of coming home from a family vacation.  Grateful to be able to have vacation laundry to do!
It wouldn't be Easter without my mom's famous Strawberry cream cheese Pie!
Libby's sweet letter to the Easter Bunny
 Sally's letter
 and Emma's mysterious picture :)
taking the easy route and decorating chalkboard Eggs.  Poor Sally was decorating in her bed since she was still sick

Easter morning, Mason's discovering his Easter surprises from the Easter Bunny

 TRUCKS

It wouldn't be a holiday at the C-Mile's without one down for the count.  When she was passing up looking for her basket I knew she was really still sick :(
So Mama, brought Easter to her and cheered her right up!
Mason's very timely in learning to say the word JESUS
 JESUS
All ready to head to Easter Mass with mom and sing her little heart out

after Mass we were driving home and I had to stop quickly to get some gas.  The minute we pulled in, Libby said "MOM! I'm gonna throw up!"  Thank goodness for the need for gas, we made it to the trash can.

Kind of funny that Easter fell on April Fool's.  For an hour after we got home, Reid thought we were playing an April Fool's joke on him that Libby didn't really get the flu.

I wish it could have been an April Fool's joke...

Mason enjoying his new trucks

Excited she wasn't sick and got to have some Strawberry pie!

Mr. Maniac learned he was tall enough to climb on the ottoman!

I forget which snowfall this was in April, but did you know even BEFORE the big historic April Blizzard we got more snow in the first few days of April than we did in all of the days leading up to Christmas this year?!
and least it keeps them busy?
Spot on, and this was BEFORE the blizzard:

Poor little brother:

a cute box we got in the mail, clever!
Tried something new and I LOVED it!!
at least the sun was shining?
New swimming session.  Emma's lucky to be in class with her friends Theo and Aubrey!
and then #3 went down for the count...
Libby was excited to bring Little Bear home for the weekend! Fear not Little Bear is washed between house visits :)
Since we didn't get to celebrate Easter as a family we celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday like it was Easter, and technically it is still Easter! To Brunch we went at the Original Pancake house.  Mason's first time in a high chair
Well behaved kiddos.  We get all the looks being crazy and bringing 4 kiddo out for brunch

Divine Mercy Chaplet on Divine Mercy Sunday during the Divine Mercy Hour (3pm, when Christ died)

Saw this on a social media site and it rang true to me.  Time, the greatest gift, especially for me!!

and that's a wrap for now! Stay tuned for my wonderful gifted trip to Arizona!! Couldn't have been timed more perfectly after 3 kiddos getting the stomach flu (AGAIN!) and then more snow predicted.  Don't hold your breath, I won't be as consistent, the sun is shining and we're outside A LOT more!! YAY!
