Sally got her first haircut this weekend! We were apprehensive as to what her reaction would be, you know, because she tends to be a little on the sensitive side. She sure surprised us, she did great! She didn't shed a tear. If you ask her about her haircut she'll tell you she got a sucker. We didn't cut very much off, just enough to help it continue to grow and thicken.
Here are some pictures and a video of the big event:
Lovin' Life
Such a big girl!
Diva
Was a big fan of the blow dryer, she does this with her Mama!
Of course we had to keep some locks for her baby book!
You can hear a little girl in the background, not having the best of times...
I think these pictures so the biggest growth in a year. Holy cow, where did time go?? She's still a little diva, only now, she gets to decide when she feels like it. She only left her bow in for 5 minutes. It only lasted that long because she didn't know it was there. When she was a baby I could do whatever with her clothes and hair (or lack thereof) and she couldn't do or say anything about it. Well, Little Miss Sally has an opinion now, and she'll let you know what she thinks at any time!
Happy 30th Birthday to my lovely sister, Jenny, Mama Nash.
SISTERS
A sister's love is special
in oh so many ways.
A few miles between us
and minutes turn to days.
We've shared so much as children
the tears, the joys, the pain.
A lifetime spent together
those memories remain.
In times gone by we've pondered
the paths our lives have taken.
Knowing that in spite of this
our sister love, unshaken.
A sister's love is special
in ways that are unspoken.
Still that binding force exists,
our sister love, unbroken.

Sally wanted to send you a little message as well. She wasn't the most cooperative and wouldn't say your name. She can say everything on her own, but would only do it if I said it first...
Thirtieth sure is a mouthful for an almost 2 year old =)
Brian, don't you love how Sally first calls you Bunny?
Here's proof that her favorite number is indeed 9, her favorite color is orange and her favorite animal is a crow-cahhh (can you guess which parent would have taught her that?!).
