3 Piggy Opera--Mother's Day--and then some

HI!

May's a doozy.

We're slowly crawling out and sliding into summer!

So let's start where we left off.

The Friday before Mother's day, Kindergarten had a special morning for Mom's.  The Class put on a 3 Piggy Opera.  Libby had a main part as the Stick House Piggy.

**Sally did this same play when she was in Kindergarten, but we were at a different school, still living in SLP.  She was the 1st piggy with the straw house.  Hopefully we can keep the streak and Emma will be the Brick House Piggy and Mason will be the Big Bad Wolf ;)**

 These 2...obsessed with each other

It was fun to go and listen to Sally's 3rd grade recorder concert

Her teacher does a fun thing for Birthdays.  The birthday student stands at the board and the classmates write positive adjectives about them
My favorite Mother's day card ;)
 Love how Libby spelled "read"
Oh man, I could eat him up!
Love our school and the involvement of prayer!
 She's such a pretty sleeper!

The funniest!! [VIDEO]

and then it really was Mother's Day and we went to 830am Mass and got a Family picture by my favorite tree.  I told Reid I really didn't want to plan the day and just take it one hour at a time.  It turned out better than if we planned it!
Forever Grateful for God's Blessings of my 4 little ones that call me Mom!
Lunch on the Patio! once the Littles went down the Bigs and Daddy went and got my favorite Chipotle Turkey everything bagel from Brueggers

and then we were going to head to Joey Nova's for pizza...but apparently they wanted to be closed to spend time with family so we made a quick decision to head to Olive's in Excelsior for dinner.  When we're brave enough to venture out with our 4Pack for dinner, we like to go early to beat the dinner rush and hopefully avoid long waits.  We timed it perfectly!

It was a beautiful night, so we walked down to the lake and ate ice cream! Mason had his first cone!

Reid said Grandpa Joe made it in the picture too ;)
Watching puppies

 Craigmile Crew!
Shout out to the one who taught be how to be a Mama! Love you, Mom, and your perm ;)
 Pretty tree
I promised Emma if she took a good nap we'd go check out the water fountains.  Girlfriend is obsessed with Water Fountains.  When they're off for the winter she asks how much longer until they'll be back on.

Of course she took forever to fall asleep for her nap, but then crushed it, so I had to bike SUPER fast to make sure we didn't miss Sally & Libby getting off the bus.  Some day they'll know all the extra littles I did...right?
 another precious Mother's Day card
Sally's class had another class Mass.  Sally got to do a petition!

Playing in the water with a quick snack break

Watching more puppies and of course a pink and purple snack cup, because, sisters, 3 older ones!

Someone wanted in on the pic too
I couldn't resist the little cheekers sticking out and the towel wrapped around like a scarf...
It was a Big Day for our 3rd grader.  I kind of love that they still teach cursive!
We were lucky enough to spend a whole day with Grandma! We biked downtown to get treats and hang out at the pavilion

Story time brought to you by Grandma
 Coloring before dinner
 helping Daddy grill
Bigs got to sneak out and get ice cream.  Thanks for taking the time Grandma.  We'd love to have you back again soon!
Sally's birthday celebration with friends.  I talked her in to picking 2 friends to have a fun day with, instead of a birthday party.

Manis and pedis!

 FroYo!
 The Ultimate Park!
 Being goofs
 Testing out the slide...
I promise Mason didn't get hurt...

 Living his best life!
This girl finally crashed after shout singing Hallelujah and playing chop chop timber (jumping) on her bed and a quick grab of the slippers...
"Mom, can you take a picture of me by the pretty tree?"
Lazy afternoons waiting for the bus
Mason got his first matchbox car, Caroline snuck one of Theo's to him.  He played with it non-stop until dinner and later that night when I was checking on him before I went to bed, I found the car in his bed.  His sisters promised they never put it there :)

He has since inherited his Daddy's "vintage" cars and monster trucks!

OOF, that's a wrap.  Sorry, not proofreading.

Hopefully be back soon with the end of the school year pics and a weekend at Nana and Grandpa's!
