☼ Happy 1st Day of Summer! ☼

We had a wonderful day yesterday, celebrating Father's Day. We did a lot of things, but it still felt like a relaxing day. We did a lot of things we always talk about doing, but never get around to do it.

We started out the day with a morning walk to Caribou!

We were able to lay out, enjoy our coffee, and read the Sunday paper, during both nap times!

We went to "Good Day Cafe- Bad Day Bar," for brunch. We've been wanting to go here for some time and have heard from many people how great the food is. We've always been shy to go because of the long wait times. However, when we called on Saturday to see what time they open on Sundays they said you can call ahead and get on the list. We were able to cut our wait time in half! I would highly recommend this place! Great prices too! We couldn't believe how many pregnant mamas we saw throughout the day. I would say at least 10!

Daddy got to enjoy his favorite, Eggs Benedict

Mommy got to enjoy one of her favorites, Crepes with Strawberries on top...Sally enjoyed some too!

After nap time, we braved the humid weather and the crowds to find a front and center parking spot at Como Zoo! Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my! We saw it all! It was so fun to get Sally to see the big animals and once she spotted them she would wave and say "Hiiiii" The polar bear exhibit is finally open to the public, however, I didn't get a picture of them.

Big Kitty!!

Having a staring contest with the Lion

Very hot and sticky, but enjoying the animals

Always entertained by all the little kiddies running around

Saying Hello to the Giraffes

I couldn't resist this picture!

My two Monkeys looking at the monkeys

I don't know who likes them more, Sally or Daddy?
Because we were so close, we had to make a pit-stop and visit Joe Joe at work! Don't mind the aisle we're in, that's where Joey had to stock the shelves :)

Happy Father's Day, Daddy! We love you so much and appreciate all that you do for us! You're the best dad I could have ever hoped for, for Sally!
