Girls Night

I remember when I was little, how excited I would get when my mom would host "cards."  Her girlfriends would come over to "play cards" {gossip}.  It meant my dad would take us out to McDonald's for dinner, so we wouldn't mess up the kitchen.  When we came back home we would be allowed a few tastes of the good treats that my mom would be serving.

Tonight I'm hosting "girls night" {girl friends drinking wine and gossiping}.  Sally knows the girls will be coming after nap time.  She's been asking since 9am to go down for her nap :) She helped me make the dip, enchiladas and cookies.  I hope some day my girls will be blessed with wonderful girl friends where they can host girls night too.
