Mason's a third of a year old

FOUR months, how, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??

I'm aware that I have yet to write up his birth story.  I had it in my mind I would try for his 4 month post.  Guess that's not happenin'.  Sorry.

Sooooo pictures with updated stats and achievements will have to do.

He still continues to be such a gem.  So calm and chill.

Sally and Mason got to pair their well visits.  Sally's yearly physical and Mason's 4 month well visit.

Both and very healthy!

Mason's Stats:
Weight: 15lbs 11 oz --72%
Height: 25.75inches--83%
Head: 17.25inches--89%

Yep, he's basically a 9 month old.  The Doc accidentally asked if he had any teeth yet, because at first glance she thought it was in for his 9 month well-visit...

 Sally's stats:
Weight: 65%
Height: 47%

The Doc predicted her to be between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches.

He found his voice and he loves to talk

He continues to be a good sleepers, with a few minor hiccups this past week, but I think it's part of the 4 month sleep regression/learning to roll.

He mostly puts himself to sleep when he goes down.

He sleeps 12 hours at night waking 1-2 times.  Usually 7hrs in and then 4 hrs. He takes 3-4 naps during the day ranging from 45 minutes-3 hours.

Proof he is just so great, all of his 4 month pics...not a bad one
He recently has taken a nuk---what?  Not all the time, but some times.  Maybe teething? Lots of drool and hands, both of them, always in the mouth
You can almost always get a smile and a laugh out of him
He loves all of his sisters and has a unique bond with each one.  He knows the moment Daddy gets home from work
He loves going for walks, taking a bath, peek-a-boo, his swing, trying to always sit up.  Getting used to his bumbo. I guess if he had to have something he didn't like it would be when his shirt gets stuck over his big head ;)  He just goes with whatever

The first time I found him on his back from sleeping....yesssssssss, he's a craigmile, he sleeps on his tummy

These two are going to be inseparable. Especially being the only two home this Fall.
 She calls him Mase Mase

Never gets old, could listen to baby giggles all day every day

We love you more and more every day, Sweet Baby Boy!!

Last day of 2nd Grade

Whoops, it's been 2 weeks since I updated.

1. It's summer, we're outside as much as we can be
2. All 4 are home
3. Last week Daddy was gone for 5 days for a work trip to Texas
4. I finally started reading for pleasure again, so any free time I had/have I read my book.  I finished it.  It was wonderful, highly recommend it. Wildflower Hill.  Thank Mom!
5. Follow me on Instagram/Instastories and you'll stay up to date ;)

Reeeeeeeeeeewinding to 2 weeks ago when Miss Sally finished up her 2nd grade year!

on the eve of the last day, Sally's school has a tradition of playing a big kickball tournament.  Sally was on the Light Blue team.  We were able to come and watch her first game.  She did great!

Making it home!
Sally and Layla on the same team!
I don't know why it took me so long to think of this, and really, I didn't, Sally did.  The cat nap right before dinner/right during dinner prep isn't not the easiest time to try and get Mason down for a nap, but it helps to make it to his bedtime of 6/630.  Sally offered to do it and it was glorious! Unfortunately we haven't had to have a repeat since because Mason pretty much puts himself to sleep now.  We're excited to have more of Sally around during the summer!

Ready to move on to 3rd grade!
She grew so much in her knowledge of her Catholic Faith
 1st day vs Last day
She can't wait to spend more time with her brother
It's going to be a fun summer!
1st day vs last day :)
It dawned on me that it was also the last day that Emma and Libby would have, without Sally.
They play really great together when it's just the 2 of them
The Buelows had a kick off to summer BBQ, it was great! Thank you so much for hosting!!
After hours of agonizing, Sally finally let me pull out her top tooth that was basically all the way out.  I knew it would come down to food ;)  She wanted to be able to enjoy her yummy dinner!
 Some of the kids table!
 action shot!
 They were maybe playing color-wheel
The good ol' hand tapping game :)
Chuck loves his Babies and Mason loves his Chuck!
Cheers to a great year Miss Sally Ann! You make being a parent of a student so easy! Thanks for paving the way for your siblings!

3rd grade, it sounds so old to me.  She is so old! But first, summer, hopefully a relaxing one as I purposely didn't sign the kiddos up for a lot.  Afterall, they only get 18 summers!

Weekend with Nana & Gramps

Friday was Sally's end of the year picnic.  I like to try and be able to help with or be with Sally for at least 2 events during the year.  I was able to help with her class Christmas party and I was able to be with her for her end of the year picnic.  Thanks Daddy for being home with the other 3!

It was a great day with Sally.  I don't often get a chance to have such a long amount of one on one time with her.

Her class with Mrs. Olsen, her teacher
 The whole 2nd grade!
When I was putting her to bed she said, "Thanks for being so encouraging to all my my friends at the picnic.  I bet you were a really good teacher."

Fun for her to see me outside of my "mom zone" :) I may have also kicked a homerun during the kickball game

Cannot believe she's about to become a 3rd grader...that's when I associate her with being really old!!
Everyone decided to wear hats on Friday

Then Nana & Grandpa arrived for a weekend of fun.  We took them to our favorite spot for Vics takeout and a picnic dinner!

and then I headed out to go put Mason down and the rest of the crew got some ice cream from the Social

Saturday morning we had coffee and donuts outside!

I wish she would let me put a bun in her hair every day, it's so cute!
You know it's a good morning when you get to bike in your jammies
I planned ahead for summer and ordered 3 books from the library.  Sally spotted them and read all 3 before 11am on Saturday!

It was the perfect weather for Mason to try on his new outfit from Grandma and George. So cute!
The littles went down for a nap and the Bigs headed to Fleet to pick out a plant to grow.  We have some tomatoes, an orange, red and yellow peppers!

Great idea, Grandpa.  We'll keep you posted on the progress!
The girls wanted to wear their new dresses from Grandma and George.  Red white and blue!
Love this garden outside of church
We love running in to our friends at Mass
and then Nana and Grandpa headed home.  Thanks for a great weekend, it was nice to be low key and just hang out!

Pictures from earlier last week.  Lazy morning of bubble blowing
 trying out his shades
we did a walking lunch on Thursday, it was wonderful!  Saying hello to the water fountain, baby ducks and horse!

 Lost one
 Seeeesters
Mason was up early and ready to rock, so I took advantage and we snuck out for a quick walk before his sister's woke up.  The only downfall of our enchanted forest is that there can be lots of BUGS. I found this awesome netting to put around his stroller to keep them away from him.  I only put it on for the enchanted forest...I'm not THAT helicoptery ;)
Sally was asked to draw a picture of what she's most excited for this summer. She wasn't done yet, don't worry Joey and Emily, you weren't forgotten
We had a fun morning helping out the Sandquist Family.  Sally had some company on the bus this morning.  Emma wanted to be prepared for the rain, even though there wasn't a cloud in the sky...

My neighbor works for the Jason show (on Fox 9 airs weekdays at 10am), she asked us to come out to a local park for a quick segment.  I'll post the video here when able, it was pretty cute!
