Emma's 2 months!

Emma is already 2 months old!

She's full of smiles!! She's such a happy girl, unless it's bedtime.  She doesn't like when the day is over.  Once she's down she does a pretty good job of sleeping.  Usually a 6 hour stretch and then a 3 or 4 hour stretch and then a 2-3 hour stretch. 8pm-8am

She will sleep for days if she falls asleep in her car seat, but hasn't quite figured out napping for long periods of time in her room.  It's still early, it'll happen :)

She loves her swing too, thank you Nash Family for letting us borrow it!

Ummmm, she also has a tooth!! What the? Is this really my child? Her big sisters didn't pop teeth until they were almost one.  I noticed it right when she was born, but it wasn't all the way through.  You can now feel it with your finger.  hmmmm we'll see what happens there, so weird!

Her head is getting stronger and stronger and doesn't mind tummy time too much, as long as her sisters are near by.

She's getting better at taking the bottle, we'll keep working on it.  She's doesn't love her nuk, but we're still working on that too.

She loves her big sisters, and Daddy (her mom too, obviously ;)). She also loves her snuggly blanket right by her face to fall asleep.  I'm not surprised, as she was always so snuggled in when we saw her on the ultrasounds.  She's really close to a giggle, Shake it Off, might do the trick :)

We don't go in for her 2 month check up until she's 3 months, with the way the scheduling worked out, which I'm okay with.  We want to avoid the doctor's office at all costs this time of year.  Libby's cooking a 102 fever as we speak...tis the season!

We're still in love with all of her hair and chubber cheekers! Love you sweet Bugaboo! What a blessing you are!!

**Some day I'll get the slideshow up of her newborn pictures...

Last Weekend

We had a busy and fun weekend, last weekend.

I didn't get any pictures, but on Friday, our college friends were in town and stopped over to meet Emma.  They also brought dinner and an adorable Christmas Dress for Emma.  So sweet!!

Thanks for coming Shawn, Kayla and Joe!!

Chubber Cheekers
Shakin' it off! Emma was on the verge of a giggle when I turned Shake it off on, I think she remembers hearing it so often before she was born!
 Saturday morning we got haircuts!

She's making sure I'm not telling them to cut it too short, oh this girl and her hair...

We've still got a little curl after her cut!
They have a large wall of chalk board, here's Sally's message and she's holding a lollipop!

The Thompson Family was in town from Portland.  The Petersons were nice enough to host all of us coming together to hang out.  Emma made the cut, as we're still working on the bottle...she took 2 this weekend!! Yahoo!

Thank you CeCe for coming over to babysit the big girls, you did a fabulous job and they had a great time.  We were very impressed!

Deli, getting some smiles from Emma!
The boys and their babies :)
 Crosby, what a cutie!
Deli had his hands full with the twins :)  They are such good little boys!!
 Alex boys, missing Kyle!

Rusty left a note for the girls that Mommy needed to check her e-mail.  The annual email from Santa, they were in awe!

We got a cute Christmas gift from Sally that she insisted we open now :)

Our little snowlady ;)
Big sister would still love to hold baby sister all day every day :)

It was a good weekend!  Sally also had her Christmas program for school and Libby had her dance recital on Monday, I'll post about those next time I get a chance.  As well as Miss Emma's 2 months!!

Have a splendid day!

Birthday Celebrations!

We had a fun day of celebrating Libby and making sure she got to do all of her favorite things.  Mama's wiped out, thus our recovery day today of staying in jammies, going nowhere and cleaning the house!

Three really is harder than two, but it is also a magical age.  Libby really understood what it meant to celebrate a birthday and had so much fun that we were celebrating her!

Some pictures I took before her birthday to get one for the slideshow, I was able to finally post yesterday...I hope it stays up :)

Three, Grandpa, did you teach her how to do 3 or did she do this all on her own? :)
3 years old, 3 feet tall

 Her selfie

We got to celebrate a little early on Sunday night at Pizza Luce, with Joey and Emily.  Thank you for the adorable outfits, you guys!  The purple dress above and the dress she wore on her birthday are some of those :)

Her Godfather. Love that he picked out the princess gift bag.  He also included a roll of quarters, a favorite gift of the girls'

Birthday Dessert!

We set her clock a little earlier so that we would be able to do the birthday scavenger hunt before the bus came for Sally.

Grandma and George's gift was down by a note from Rusty!
Elsa shoes from Mommy and Daddy

Elsa dress from Mommy and Daddy

We were going to skip the whole Frozen theme for Christmas and her Birthday, but she loves it so much.  My sister also made a good point.  There are few toys kids will play with over and over and over, but dress up clothes is always a good buy!

Here's Elsa with her "long braid" and all!

Love my Sweetheart

"Now I'll give you a kiss, Mom!"
First stop was Trader Joe's so she could push a little cart and pick out her afternoon snack.  When they found out it was her birthday they gave her a pink flower!

Next stop was Cub to pick out a doughnut and a balloon

When we got home to eat her doughnut and quickly feed Emma she said, "well that was sure fun!" Makes it all worth it when they really appreciate it!

"Can I do my trains really quick before we go meet daddy?"
 I'm THREE

 Big Beautiful Brown Eyes

HUGE hit! Trumped princess stuff, all day.  She and Sally enjoyed it once Sally got home too!
Downtown to meet Daddy for lunch.  I always forget how much I dislike going downtown, too much hustle and bustle and I stress to make sure we don't stick out more than we already do...
The moment she spotted her Daddy

 "I have to go potty"
After naps I  had a tea party all set up and ready to play, another of her favorites
We had chicken nuggets and mac n cheese for dinner, her request.  We read her cards, listened to messages, and had phone calls.  Thank you for all that thought of her on her special day, we appreciate it!

Innocence, birthday wishes!
And just like that another year had flown by :(

Happy Birthday Sweet girl, you are so very special to us! Love you like crazy!!
