Libby's Turn!

We went to storytime at the Library for 0-24month olds.  That means it was finally Libby's turn to have something just for her! I had a talk with Sally before we went, that she would be my special helper, but that this was for Libby.

Sally was awesome! I was so so proud of what a big, mature girl she was!  At the end of storytime there are a bunch of toys that get brought out.  I gently reminded Sally that this was for the little kids and that she could play too, but to be aware if another little kid wanted what she had.

At one point one child took a block away from Sally and then knocked down her tower.  I held my breath.  Sally looked across the room at me, smiled and said oh well.  What a sweetheart!

Libby was overwhelmed with all of the crazy kids so she wasn't her usual smiley, chatty self, but she had a great time and enjoyed reading the books.  As well as popping the bubbles to the Lollipop song!!

We will be back!

Proud of how this one is growing up!

Can you guess what is about to happen?

We have another lover of Mother Goose!
That afternoon Kari and Haddie came over for a visit.  Miss Haddie is going to be starting day care soon so we wanted to help her mommy with that transition and help get Haddie to take a bottle.  After Auntie Jackie's crazy talking and singing to her, we had success.  It has continued at home too.  Yay Haddie!!

EYE Spy

We had a fun weekend filled with nothing and friends :) Friday night we were invited over to the Selby's for cheese pizza. It's always nice to have other Catholic Friends :) Thanks for having us over, we'll have you over soon! Saturday night we had a long overdue triple date night to the Blue Door. At their new location in the Longfellow neighborhood. It was a long wait, but we didn't mind, we always have lots to talk about :)
A sign you have a keep for a sitter :) Thank you Andria!!

BURGERS!! Welcome home Martinson Family, so good to have you here!!
We had a lazy Sunday other than going to 10:30am Mass.  We get the morning coupons and lounge around.  Reid had a little more fun with coupons than the rest of us...don't mind his awesome scarf.  As he says we're always dressing up around here with two princesses and he's their prince :)
Typical weekend morning!

I couldn't get enough of this girl and her spunky personality with the outfit to match!
Still won't take a step, stubborn little lady.  She totally could, but just doesn't want to. She'll probably be the athlete of the family

The Bag Lady and Miss Independent

Introducing the one and only Bag Lady...

Teaching Libby how to say necklace

Helping Libby to face her fears in a gentle way.  Zuh Zuh pets are scary!
Sally got a new table and chairs set up in her room, thanks to the Joerger Family from Kanasas!! A big thank you to Uncle Poosch for bringing it home!!
Uncle Poosch and Cousin Andy came over the other night to pick up our old couch {which was quite the sight...}.  They stayed for a few snuggles too!
Next up we have Miss Independent also know as I DO IT!!!  I have no idea where she gets that from, right mom? :)

If Sally sits and the table, I sit at the table.  Got it Mom?
Also if Sally uses a spoon, I use a spoon.  Even if it's tomato soup!!

Happy Happy Birthday to Friend Jenny today! We hope you have a fabulous day! Come on over and play anytime!! We love you JenBen!! xxo
