The Wedding

We're back! We had a FABULOUS time!  We would not have been able to go, or enjoy ourselves nearly as much, if it wasn't for our wonderful parents! It was such a blessing have them stay with our girls.  We didn't worry once that things weren't going smoothly.  Mom, Russ, Ann, we can't thank you enough for coming down to stay with our girls.  We are so very blessed to have you offer up your services!  The girls had a wonderful time with you.  Thank you thank you!

The weather was perfect, the food was great, the company was spectacular.  I'm not sure if we would change anything if we were to do it again.  Thank you Jenny and Michael for including us in celebrating your special day.  We were so honored to be there.  You two make a wonderful couple and it is so great to see you so truly happy and in love!

I figured the most logical way to start sharing pictures, was the purpose of the trip, the wedding!

We got our suitcases out this weekend to start getting organized for the big vaca on Wednesday.  "We're coming too, right?!"

Love my girls! I'm going to miss them a crazy amount, but I know it is a much needed break and will help me to be a better Mama when I return! We're so lucky to have their grandparents step in for us as I know they'll be loved so so much while we're away.

I dislike all of the necessary prep that needs to be done when going on a vacation, once you have kids.  Making sure the Will is organized, and the Living Will is filled out.  Permission for medical descisions for the girls if something were to happen.  All the necessary precautions, but not the most fun things to think about.

Today is laundry day, tomorrow is cleaning day and Wednesday is departure! So very much excited for a week with my husband and my good friends!

What Day is it?

Happy ummm Friday? Anyone else confused as to what day of the week it is? With Christmas and New Year's falling on Tuesday it has been hard to keep track.

Libby successfully used the walker for the first time yesterday! We won't be working too hard on this until after our trip.  We wouldn't want her to have her first steps while Mommy and Daddy are away :)
